Juvederm FAQ

What is JUVÉDERM® Injectable Filler?
Juvéderm® is a hyaluronic acid gel that is injected beneath the skin to smooth wrinkles and folds on the face. Some of the main components of healthy skin are water, fat, collagen, and hyaluronic acid. Specifically, hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the human body. The role of hyaluronic acid in the skin is to deliver nutrients, hydrate the skin by holding in water, and to act as a cushioning agent. Therefore, Juvéderm® m injections add volume to the skin, and restore a naturally smoother appearance to the face.

How is JUVÉDERM® Injectable Filler® different from other fillers?
